Fire in Tumble Dryer Triggers Emergency Response in Central Copenhagen
The Greater Copenhagen Fire Department (Hovedstadens Beredskab) responded Saturday evening to a report of smoke in the basement of a building on Store Kongensgade.
The call was received at 20:19.
According to the emergency services, the incident involved a fire in a tumble dryer, which had been extinguished by staff before firefighters arrived.
Firefighters ensured the area was thoroughly ventilated before the scene was handed over to the owner.
