Man sentenced for aggravated assault and deprivation of liberty
A 34-year-old man was on Wednesday sentenced by the Court in Lyngby to two years and three months of unconditional imprisonment for aggravated assault, deprivation of liberty and threats.
The man was arrested in August last year and has been held in pre-trial detention since then. The case concerns an incident in an apartment on Jægersborg Allé in Gentofte, where he struck, kicked and stabbed a woman with a knife.
The 34-year-old, who is a Lithuanian national, was simultaneously permanently expelled from Denmark.
