Copenhagen Police are asking the public for assistance in identifying a man suspected in a case of home robbery at a senior housing complex in Guldbergs Have on Nørrebro.

The robbery took place on Tuesday, 4 November 2025 at 2:45 p.m. According to police, the perpetrator was cycling around the area when he noticed an elderly man riding an electric scooter. After the elderly man had entered his apartment, the perpetrator rang the doorbell.

When the door was opened, the elderly man was pushed in the chest. The perpetrator restrained him and took his wallet, which contained a substantial amount of cash.

As part of the investigation, police have secured CCTV images of the suspect, which are now being released.

“This is a serious case in which the perpetrator appears to have specifically targeted an elderly person. We have obtained some images from surveillance of the man we suspect, and we hope that members of the public may recognise him and help us move the case forward,” said Police Inspector Poul Hansen of Copenhagen Police.

The suspect is described as a man aged between 50 and 70, approximately 175–185 centimetres tall and of medium to heavy build. He is described as having a dark complexion and a grey full beard.

At the time of the offence, he was wearing a flat cap, glasses, a black coat, black gloves, jeans and sneakers. He was carrying a blue backpack and was riding a dark green women’s bicycle with a front basket and an orange bicycle lock.

Copenhagen Police urge anyone who recognises the man or has information about the case to contact the police on telephone number 114.
