21 motorists fined for ignoring no-entry ban on Nygårdsvej
Following several inquiries from residents, police were present on Thursday on Nygårdsvej in the outer Østerbro district of Copenhagen, where they charged 14 motorists for ignoring a no-entry ban. By early Friday afternoon, police had so far charged an additional seven motorists in the same area.
The no-entry ban on Nygårdsvej is part of a traffic reorganisation in the neighbourhood, and Copenhagen Police state that they will continue to revisit the area in the coming period to ensure that the ban and one-way traffic regulations are being observed.
