Media: USA tried to obtain information about military infrastructure in Greenland

In 2025, the USA attempted informally and outside official channels to obtain information about military infrastructure in Greenland.
This is reported by Berlingske.dk.
The inquiries were directed straight to Danish military counterparts in Greenland and included, among other things, ports, airports, as well as radar and communications facilities.
The attempts caused concern in Denmark and led to both the Ministry of Defence and the top military leadership being informed.
