Trump threatens tariffs if countries do not follow the US plans for Greenland
US President Donald Trump is considering imposing tariffs on countries that do not support his plans for Greenland.
This is reported by 365Nyheder.dk.
The statement was made on Friday at a meeting at the White House.
At the meeting, Trump said:
– “I may impose tariffs on countries if they do not agree on Greenland, because we need Greenland for national security.”
However, he did not elaborate further on how this would be done or which countries he envisions targeting with tariffs.
