USA–Greenland meeting concludes
The meeting between U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Denmark’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen and Greenland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Motzfeldt has concluded.
The meeting lasted just over an hour.
When the meeting was over, the Danish delegation came out to the cars, where Lars Løkke Rasmussen stopped to smoke a cigarette, and the Danish ambassador gave Løkke a so-called “fist bump” before the group continued on to the Danish embassy.
There was no interaction with the press before the delegation entered the embassy, where the meeting is expected to be evaluated.
A press conference has been called and is expected to take place at 7:45 p.m.
