Chaotic crisis meeting created rift between Denmark and Greenland
An emergency video meeting held on Tuesday on the Teams platform between Danish and Greenlandic politicians about U.S. pressure on the Realm of the Kingdom developed into a chaotic and confrontational exchange.
This is reported by dr.dk.
According to the outlet, Greenlandic participants expressed anger and accused Denmark of neo-colonialism and of excluding Greenland from key meetings.
During the meeting, a wish was also voiced for direct Greenlandic dialogue with the United States without Denmark, which further increased tensions.
The meeting ended without any conclusions, leaving Danish politicians shaken and Greenlandic politicians frustrated.
