Constitution agreed: This is the new City Council

Copenhagen’s new municipal leadership has been confirmed following the constitution agreement reached after the local elections. Sisse Marie Welling of Socialistisk Folkeparti (Socialist People’s Party) becomes the city’s new Lord Mayor, leading a City Council of 55 members and a series of newly appointed mayors across the committees that will shape policy in the coming term.


Sisse Marie Welling (SF – Socialist People’s Party) is now Lord Mayor of Copenhagen. Below are the 55 members of the new City Council (Borgerrepræsentationen) and the different standing committees.
