Multiple emergency responses during the past 24 hours

The Greater Copenhagen Fire Department responded to a number of incidents of varying character during the past 24 hours.

At 12:12 pm, crews were dispatched to Strandlodsvej following a report of an elevator stoppage. Upon arrival, the affected individuals had already exited the elevator on their own, and the operation was concluded.

At 2:06 pm, a traffic accident was reported on Jernbane Allé. Two cars were involved, but no one was injured. Debris was cleared from the roadway, and the parties handled insurance matters themselves.

At 3:45 pm, a check was carried out on Niels W. Gades Gade after smoke had been observed coming from a dishwasher. Nothing unusual was found.

At 5:21 pm, the department provided drone assistance to Beredskab Øst in connection with a building fire in a shop on Ryvangs Allé.

Later, at 7:10 pm, another traffic accident occurred — this time on Roholmsvej, where two passenger cars had collided. Police and ambulance crews arrived on scene, and the fire department secured and cleaned up the area.

Just minutes later, at 7:12 pm, crews were dispatched to Vingeager, where a bio fireplace ignited a person during lighting, causing severe burns to their arms and legs. The injured person was taken to hospital, and the site was handed over to damage control services.

At 7:29 pm, the department responded to an elevator stoppage on Fyrbødervej, where a person was freed in cooperation with an elevator company. The individual suffered no harm.

The final incident before midnight occurred at 11:25 pm on Flintholm Allé, where a forgotten pot on a stove had caused a minor building fire. The apartment was ventilated and handed over to police and damage control services.

According to the incident report, the Greater Copenhagen Fire Department also responded to 11 false alarms triggered by automatic systems and 4 false manual alarms during the duty period.
