Tourist robbed of large sum of money – 35-year-old imprisoned

A tourist was robbed of 2000 euros and 2000 Danish kroner in the city center on Thursday morning while taking a group picture of other tourists.
A 35-year-old Romanian man was arrested on the spot, while an accomplice escaped on a bicycle with the cash.
The 35-year-old was brought before a magistrate in the Copenhagen City Court on Friday. He was sentenced to 20 days in prison and deportation from Denmark with a ban on re-entry for 6 years.
