Establishing temporary military areas in Copenhagen in connection with EU summits
With the consent of the Copenhagen Police, the Defense has established two temporary military areas in connection with the holding of EU summits in Copenhagen. The areas are located at Nordsøvej 4 in Nordhavn and at Kongelundsfortet on Amager.
The temporary areas came into force today, Wednesday at 06:00 and will remain in effect until Saturday at 12:00.
The purpose of the establishment is to support the Defense’s efforts during the summits taking place on Wednesday and Thursday. Both areas are guarded by military personnel.
