Army deployed against hybrid threats at military sites
Units from the Army have been deployed to several locations in the country to counter potential hybrid threats against military facilities. The deployment comes in response to long-term aerial surveillance over Denmark.
This was announced by The Danish Armed Forces.
In recent days, the Army has been active in monitoring the airspace above a number of military sites. The aim is to protect military areas against drones and other forms of hybrid threats.
The effort includes infantry fighting vehicles as well as other military platforms and systems that are on standby around the clock. For operational security reasons, The Danish Armed Forces do not wish to disclose the number of units deployed, the types of vehicles used, or exactly where they are located.
