Two Men Sentenced for Stabbing in Ishøj
The court in Glostrup on Tuesday sentenced two 20-year-old men to two and a half years in prison each for a stabbing incident at a restaurant in Ishøj on 6th December last year.
The attack took place as part of an ongoing conflict between two criminal groups and was therefore treated under the Danish Penal Code § 81a, also known as the gang provision.
“Based on the police investigation, one of the men was detained shortly after the attack, while the other was imprisoned when he was extradited from abroad in March 2025,” said prosecutor Magnus Brauer.
The police investigation revealed that the same group was involved in a shooting later that same day near a tunnel on Vejlebrosvej in Ishøj, where one of the now-convicted men was shot in the leg.
A third man was also charged in the case, but the prosecution decided to drop the charges against him before the trial.
Both convicts have appealed the sentence to the appellate court.
