31-year-old indicted for complicity in multiple murder attempts
A 31-year-old Iranian man has been indicted for four cases of complicity in murder attempts and possession of weapons.
This was reported by the Prosecutors of the Copenhagen Police.
According to the indictment, he has helped recruit primarily young Swedes to carry out murders in Denmark and instructed them on how to execute the attacks.
It is assessed that three of the murder attempts occurred as part of a gang conflict.
The 31-year-old was extradited from the United Arab Emirates in June and is currently in custody.
The recruitment and instructions allegedly occurred in conjunction with a 22-year-old Swedish man, who was also indicted in June in the same four cases and for an additional murder attempt. The 22-year-old is also in custody.
