From the daily report: Multiple small fires and traffic accident in the Capital Region
Greater Copenhagen Fire Department (Hovedstadens Beredskab) responded to several minor incidents in the capital region over the past 24 hours. Among the most significant were fires in containers and a car, as well as a minor traffic accident.
On Friday at 11:41 a.m., a fire was reported in a microwave oven at Vognporten. However, the fire had been extinguished before the emergency services arrived.
Shortly after, at 12:28 p.m., the emergency services were called to Hessensgade where there had been a fire in a balcony box. The fire was also extinguished upon arrival.
At 1:48 p.m., a minor traffic accident involving two parties was reported on Stamholmen. The emergency services secured and cleaned up the scene, which was then handed over to the police.
Later that day, at 5:31 p.m., a fire broke out in a container at Kalvebod Brygge. The fire was extinguished using a hose and foam, and the scene was handed over to the police.
On Friday night at 10:33 p.m., the emergency services responded to a fire in a trash can on Blytsvej. This fire was also extinguished using a hose.
At 11:35 p.m., smoke was observed coming from a balcony box on Bredager. The fire was quickly extinguished with water.
In the early hours of Saturday at 1:04 a.m., a fire was reported in a car on Strandesplanaden. The fire was extinguished using a hose, and the case was handed over to the police.
