Man attacked by gang of thieves in Aarhus

A 66-year-old man was attacked by a gang of thieves on Thursday afternoon  at 5:39 PM and robbed of his watch.

A group of 6-7 people asked the man for directions, which he helped them with. But when one of them subsequently tried to shake the 66-year-old’s hand in gratitude, he instead held onto the 66-year-old man’s hand firmly while several others grabbed his arm and pulled his watch off.

The perpetrators then fled the scene. Several patrols later searched the area to locate the suspects, but were unsuccessful in finding them.

The 66-year-old described the men as Indian or Pakistani in appearance, aged 20-25, with several having mustaches and black curly hair, all dressed in summer clothing.

The police would like to hear from witnesses or anyone with information about the case on phone number 114.
