Cocaine found in banana delivery to supermarkets
A large quantity of cocaine has been found in a shipment of bananas to the supermarket chain COOP.
The discovery was made on Monday and Tuesday in several stores located in North Zealand and Central and West Zealand.
In cooperation with COOP and with assistance from the National Unit for Special Crime (NSK), the police have conducted investigations into the specific shipment and deliveries to the affected stores. Cocaine packages have been confiscated in connection with this.
The police have not disclosed the exact quantity of the confiscated cocaine and currently have no further comments on the matter.
