Two men charged with robbery against 16-year-old
On Monday evening, two men were arrested and charged with robbing a 16-year-old boy on Søndergade in Hadsten.
According to East Jutland Police, the incident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. when the boy had just left a supermarket with his wallet in hand.
The boy explained to the police that he was approached by two men who asked for money. When he refused, one of them, according to the boy, lifted his shirt and showed something that looked like a gun while demanding money. The 16-year-old then handed over a few hundred kroner, and the men left the scene. Shortly after, the boy alerted the police.
Based on the description and witness statements, the police located the two suspects shortly afterward at a nearby address. The two men, aged 24 and 25, were arrested and charged with robbery.
The suspects admitted to asking for money but denied threatening the boy or possessing a weapon. The police conducted a search and investigation at the address but did not find any firearms.
East Jutland Police are now investigating the case further to clarify the sequence of events.
