55-year-old remanded in custody – charged with murder of 71-year-old woman
A 55-year-old man has been remanded in custody pending a hearing on June 25, charged with the murder of a 71-year-old woman in Esbjerg on Tuesday.
The man denies his guilt.
An 84-year-old man was also arrested in the case but was released after questioning. However, he remains a suspect in the case.
On Tuesday morning, the police received a report that a female resident on Kingosvej in Esbjerg had been seriously injured. A patrol was immediately dispatched to the scene, where it was revealed that a 71-year-old woman had died under suspicious circumstances.
The investigation led to the arrest of the two men.
