Handball World Championship: Denmark in the final
Denmark will face Croatia in the final of the Handball World Championship on Sunday.
This was confirmed after the Danish men’s team won against Portugal on Friday evening.
Denmark scored first in the first half, but Portugal managed to keep up well, and even when the Danes started to pull away, the Portuguese closed in on the red and white team. At halftime, Denmark was ahead 20-16.
However, in the second half, the Danish players took more risks and were able to distance themselves from the Portuguese, so much so that the final score was 40-27 when the final whistle blew.
