Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Danes in Syria: Leave the country
The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs is now urging all Danes in Syria to leave the country.
The recommendation comes due to the current security situation, which the ministry describes as “very serious and unpredictable.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs that Denmark does not have an embassy in Syria and therefore has very limited capacity to provide assistance.
The ministry also advises staying informed about the situation in the country, for example through the news media.
If there is a need for urgent advice, individuals can contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Global Duty Center at any time by calling +45 3392 1112 or emailing borger@um.dk.
